This may bring true the rumors that they'll be going back to navy lettering on the road uniforms, similar to the look the team sported in the 1980s. I, for one, am not happy about it. We'll see what happens tomorrow night at 6:00.Jon Meterparel: Big announcement tomorrow night. A new uniform? Is that correct?
Larry Lucchino: Well there’s an adjustment to the road uniforms that will touch upon Red Sox tradition. It’s a little back to the future kind of thing and there will be some adjustments to the logo as well so both items are going to be announced tomorrow (Thursday, December 11).

Hey guys, how about giving credit to WEEI and the Behind the Glass blog where you clearly got those comments?
Actually, the comments are ours. I wrote them myself. The only thing taken was the transcript of the quote itself. Nothing more.
Clearly the comments are different. and the Transcript is obviously from the show and credited. Way to go overboard on the nitpick.
Next time Vendorball, don't copy their use of words like "the" "an" "at" "Red Sox" apparently WEEI and BTG can use it only so be on the watch for douchey commenters. Pretty sure many people were thinking the old navy unis including myself so BTG isn't the only one.
Hey Anon, way to douche it up.
Viva la Vendorball!!!!
I apologize for the confusion. I meant to say that you got the transcription from the Behind the Glass blog which I thought you should have credited in addition to Dennis and Callahan. It's only fair you credit where you actually found the information.
As for your comments, I agree! I'm not happy about this either!
So...you're staying behind the "Anonymous" moniker. Show yourself, son!
They unveiled them today ! Here's the link to the Globe's story:
